ParKam CCTV Policy

  1. Ownership. As part of ParKam (Israel) Ltd.’s (the “Company”) parking solution services, the Company operates a CCTV surveillance system (the “Cameras”) that captures images in the proximity of the Cameras. The Cameras are owned and managed either by the Company or by third party service providers such as municipalities and parking lot owners and operators.
  2. Purpose. The Cameras are installed on streets, on buildings, and in other public spaces intended to photograph roads or parking areas and identify occupied/vacant parking spaces (the “ParKam Service”).
  3. Scope and Location. This policy applies to the Cameras being utilized in the course of the ParKam Service. Effective placement of Cameras is critical to the provision and success of the ParKam Service.
  4. Compliance. Footage obtained from the Cameras does not include recognizable individuals or license plate numbers. Nevertheless, the Company has submitted an application for registration of the database of images collected by the Cameras (the “Database”), and such application has been accepted. In addition, the Company has implemented industry-standard security measures to protect any personally identifiable data collected, stored or otherwise processed by the Company.
  5. Signage. Cameras are located at strategic points on streets, buildings and public spaces so as to photograph parking spaces. Signage is prominently placed adjacent to the area covered by the Cameras notifying pedestrians and members of the public that CCTV equipment is in use. Such signage includes contact details for further information.
  6. Operation. The Cameras are operational and footage is recorded twenty-four hours per day, throughout the entire year. The footage produced by the Cameras is sufficiently blurred and in a sufficiently low resolution such that it does not include recognizable individuals or license plate numbers. The footage is used by the Company solely to train its system during the set-up period when setting up the ParKam Service in a new venue, for support and maintenance purposes, and to extrapolate a GPS point.
  7. Footage Retention. No footage and/or any other information derived from the Cameras is stored for longer than is required for the stated purposes, and the vast majority of the footage will be deleted as soon as the GPS point is created – which occurs instantaneously upon receipt of the footage in the system.
  8. Access to Footage. Access to the footage is restricted to the Company's employees who need to have access to provide the ParKam Service. The footage will not be made available to any third parties.
  9. Transfer of Footage. the Company may transfer the footage in connection with providing the ParKam Service as follows:
    1. Subsidiaries/Affiliates/Service Providers – the Company may transfer the footage to its local or foreign subsidiaries, affiliated companies or service providers for the purpose of storing or processing such footage on the Company’s behalf. The footage may be transferred to other countries. The Company requires that such parties agree to process such footage in compliance with the Company’s privacy policy, which is available at: https://web.parkam-ip.com/privacyPolicy/.
    2. Change of Control – in the event of a change of control in the Company and/or sale or transfer of any part of its business, the footage may be transferred to the third party who will acquire the control in the Company and/or any part of the Company’s business. Note, that such third party may be located anywhere in the world.
  10. Data Subject Inspection Rights. Data subjects may address requests for inspecting their data or other concerns or complaints over use of the Cameras by sending an email to: privacy@parkam-ip.com. A response will be provided promptly and in any event within 30 calendar days following receipt of the email. That said, the Company may be unable to provide footage for inspection, as the vast majority of the footage is deleted instantaneously.
  11. Database Administrator and Company Contact: The appointed Database administrator is Mr. Asaf Naamani; e-mail: asaf@parkam-ip.com (the “Database Admin”). The Database Admin shall act as the first point of contact for all inquiries relevant to the Cameras and shall ensure that only predetermined authorized personnel obtain access to the Database.
